Hello fellow developer, it's pretty incredible how ubiquitous and immediate computing has become. Remember when it took ages to start your PC, choose a single game to play and wait for it to load and take over the whole machine? Now you can simulate full Windows experiences in the browser (check in the procrastination section), our devices are always on and there is a constant stream of information. Which is cool, but it also means there is a lot happening that we don't even know. That's especially the case with AI agents and services running in the background, which is why we sat down with an engineer from Mozilla to talk about on-device AI and how to know what is happening.
Mozilla is the latest company to add AI to your browsing experience. Time to take a look at what that means for our privacy, performance and security. We sat down with Tarek Ziadé who worked on some of the AI features to learn how to use AI without giving away all of our data. Check out what he had to say.
