Hello fellow developer, there is no getting around the cool new hype of "vibe coding" and there is a lot of confusion about it. The original tweet comes across as slightly unhinged, the vibe coding manifesto doesn't help much either, people call it dangerous or even deliberately de-skilling to push us on subscription services. There are books out about it but they seem to miss the mark. I also wonder if creating interactive apps that can and will be attacked without knowing how they work might not be the best idea.

I've written in depth on the Magazine about Vibe Coding as a threat to creativity and craft which is also a print article in the German AI Mag and I will give a talk about it at Infoshare in Poiand in May.
